Claude Monet was one of the founders of the Impressionist style of painting, which was characterized by the use of loose brushwork to create outdoor scenes or images of everyday life as they are seen under different lighting conditions. Monet often painted the same scene dozens of times in order to capture it in every type of sunlight. In his later years, he painted scenes from his garden at Giverny, including this image of the Japanese Bridge. Posters are imported from Italy.
